Carl and Claire – Edmonton Wedding Photography

Carl and Claire; Two amazingly sweet, and kind hearted people were married last Sunday.  To be able to start the season off with this fantastic brunch wedding was a great opportunity.  (The fact that I went to high school with Claire was just an added bonus);)

They had to plan the wedding from overseas as they have been living in Shanghai, so it was very important that they chose vendors that they could trust to take care of things over here in Canada.

Claire has always been extremely creative and talented, and I was excited to see how this would tie into her wedding with Carl.  Everything was personal; from the stationary for the invitations and welcome packages, to their vows and flow to the ceremony; to the champagne interlude and brunch reception. Everything was carefully thought out and held significance to the couple… Oh, and wait till you see her beautiful dress with pockets.

Tingles and tears were shared when Carl’s father lead everyone into a singing of “Moon River” while the couple signed the registry.  But, my favourite part was when the couple had their rings passed around the room to be held by each of their guests.  It was a wonderful way to have people partake in being present while witnessing them share their personal vows.

Congratulations to you both again!! Enjoy your travels and the many adventures to come.  We were happy to be a part of the day.

Edmonton Maternity and Family Photography – Naomi, Derek, Malcolm and….

Our great friends, Naomi and Derek, are expecting their second child very soon.  We can’t wait to meet the little one, and we are looking forward to Neko meeting her new friend.  We fought off the mosquitoes and did a quick little session out at their place in Spruce Grove.  Here are a few images from the session.

Introducing Miller – Edmonton Baby Photographer

Several years ago we met Alexis and Chris.  They have been one of the greatest couples that we have had the opportunity to work with.  We first photographed their wedding, and then Alexis’ sister’s wedding, and many of their friends.  And then Grey was born.  And she has grown up to be one of the sweetest little girls.  We love photographing this family.

And recently we were able to meet the newest addition to their family, Miller, and do a lifestyle family session.  Miller is pretty much the perfect baby, and we can’t wait to watch her grow up.  Congratulations to all of you.  Lots of love
