Honeymoon in Iceland

Alright, so it has been 3 months since our return from our honeymoon in Iceland.  Yes, Iceland.  When we mention to people that we chose Iceland as our honeymoon location, the majority of people give us a strange look.  For those that are unaware.  Iceland is amazing.  It’s as if they stuck all of the beautiful places in Canada into one little place, and then added a whole bunch of even cooler places.  Iceland has a population of only 300,000 people.  Which is roughly 1/3rd of the city we live in.  The first five days of our trip we attended a music festival.  Iceland Airwaves was a fantastic opportunity to see Reykjavik and experience loads of great bands.  There were shows in bars, cafes, Art Museums, Hair Salons, The Blue Lagoon and lots of other unique spots.  After the festival we took the opportunity to get a car and drive around the island in 10 days.  There are so many things to see that it could take a month or longer, but 10 days was a great start.  The trip was full of amazing little adventures, great people, great food, and some of the best scenery in the world.  That is why there is such an abundance of photos here for you to look at.  These are just a small sample of the thousands of photos we took.  So enjoy our take on Iceland.  And if you enjoy some of these images and just have to have one for your place, or for work, they are all available for purchase.  5×7′s are $40, 8×12′s are $65, and you can contact us for the pricing for larger sizes.  We are also offering for the first time a collection of 5×7 greeting cards.  The package includes 12 cards – 2 copies of 6 of our favourite images.
