Vanessa and Josh are getting married this summer and we were pumped for their engagement session. I’d been chatting with Vanessa for weeks about different ideas.
It started out a lovely day. Sunshiney and warm. Well, that was up until 2 minutes before the session when a giant windstorm rolled in carrying with it some dark clouds. But they were troopers. At first we tried to work with it… I thought the wind might help show off Vanessa’s gorgeous long hair, but after a few minutes of braving the dust and dirt flying around, we ducked inside one of Edmonton’s downtown buildings. It turned out to be a great indoor alternative, providing us with some urban images.
When the wind died down, we moved outdoors again. This time it was one of Edmonton’s other menace’s that got in the way. Mosquitoes. But once they again they powered through it and we had a good time in the river valley. Thanks for braving the elements with us. You were both so cheerful and optimistic the whole time, it made our job easy.
