How great of an idea is this!?! When Amanda called us up a while ago to inquire about a ‘Sex in the City’ portrait session done with her girl friends (Jen,Sumira and Kerry). I got so excited I started thinking about doing it with my own friends. I wished I could have photographed it too. Shaun and I were busy with a wedding, so Gordon and Kristina Scade had the opportunity to shoot something this special. Its always fun to photograph something a bit different. How many times do we think about having pictures done for ourselves as a couple or a family? Rarely do we capture us with our friends unless its done with our own point and shoot cameras on random nights out. Usually the waitress at a restaurant has to be asked to take a group shot, or one of the friends taking the picture is missing out on being in it.
This would be such a great way to spend a day for someone’s birthday, or wedding shower, or staggette, or just a girls date.
Our friends are in many ways our family, they are an extension of who we are as people. And they are worth photographing!
Gord and Kristina had a blast hanging out with this group for the day. They all looked gorgeous, and were so easy to photograph.
