Ania is a friend of Shaun’s from one of his many previous jobs, back in the day. She is one very excited momma to be. She asked to have a maternity session from us right at the beginning of her pregnancy. We made her wait as long as we could. Can you believe she was at 35 WEEKS at the time we photographed her!! It was my first time meeting Ania, and she was so wonderful to meet. So friendly, fun and energetic and beautiful! I can only imagine the fun her new baby is going to have playing and exploring with mommy all day! Ania’s mother Eva was also with us on the day of the shoot. She and Ania made us stop half way through so we could have a coffee and cake break. yum and thanks.
The shoot went so well! The sunlight was lovely, and Ania was up for anything, she had lots of ideas, she loved the black and white look, and we were able to create some beautiful portraits. Eva had a fun painting idea which I think I want to incorporate into a fun photography project later on this summer! (thanks Eva). Here are some of our favourite images!
