Last week Gord had the opportunity to fly out to Vancouver to photograph Wilson and Amy. Their wedding will be in Edmonton this summer, but because they live out West they wanted their engagement pictures taken there. Gord obviously didn’t mind. It is exciting to shoot in a different city than our own every now and then. The creativity we can draw from the new locations and angles is almost overwhelming.
Its probably the reason the session spread out over two days. Gord had so much fun, he didn’t want to stop shooting. They went to the marina and used the Vancouver skyline off of the beach, went through Gas Town, Stanley Park, and even took some shots inside the brand new waterfront Fairmont Hotel.
Wilson and Amy were wonderful hosts. Gord came back raving about a little restaurant that serves incredible Japanese tapas. They brought out mackerel and scorched it with a flame right before your eyes. We hope you like images, and we’re looking forward to seeing you this summer.
