Bryn and Jason get married! – Edmonton-Wedding-Photographers

Shaun and I were excited to photograph Bryn and Jason’s wedding last March for a couple of reasons. One, Bryn did her research and they picked us out of Edmonton’s large and talented photography community.  Not only is it flattering, but it gives us such a boost of confidence when clients pick us for our photographic style. We couldn’t wait to try and knock their toe socks off!

Also, after shooting their engagement session, we really got to see how fun this couple was to be around. They’re full of positive energy. During the speeches at the reception, we heard that Jason’s actually reffered to Bryn as the sunshine! Because of her endless energy and warmth she shares with others.*smile*

The wedding day was beautiful. They had lovely weather and it wasn’t too muddy out…which is always a bit of a worry for Spring wedding portraits. We met up with Bryn first while she and the bridal party were getting their hair done by the artists at Avanti and the first thing she said to us was, “I’M GETTING MARRIED TODAY!” With the biggest grin on her face.  Next we headed over to the Sutton Place Hotel in downtown Edmonton where the ceremony and reception were being held. It’s a great central location for people. We walked over to the City hall for some family and formal portraits before heading out for a stroll downtown and into the river valley.

Thank you so much for picking us to celebrate your day with you. We had a blast with you and your fabulous wedding party. Everyone was so much fun to be around, it hardly felt like we were working. Here are some of our favourites from the day!

This next picture is so fun! Bryn’s father has just accidentally stepped on her dress. The first thing I notice is Bryn’s laughter and reaction, and then my eye goes towards the marriage commissioner..and I can’t help but laugh myself.
