This was a wedding Shaun and I had been looking forward to for a long time. We’d shot their engagement session last summer and had so much fun the shoot lasted over three hours. They’ve been together for seven years and were both very excited to get married.
It was a beautiful, big, Italian wedding, and everybody looked amazing. After having their ceremony at St Joseph’s Basilica, we took the bridal party around Jasper Ave for some formals and then to the Art Gallery of Alberta. It was our first time using this new indoor space and we were excited to work with a new location. Spending the afternoon with a large group of friends, which happen to be a bridal party, is always a lot of fun, especially when they are so much fun to be around. They were full of fun ideas, jokes, and love for the special couple.
The reception was held at the Mayfield Inn‘s ballroom. Elisa and Marco’s parents surprised them with a stunning ice sculpture, chilling chocolate covered strawberries and champagne for their guests as they entered the room. Thank you
they were delicious. The five course dinner we were served was also delicious. And as full as I was after everything served, there was no way I was going to pass up the Italian ice cream for dessert.
Elisa and Marco’s wedding was filled with everything a wedding should be full of. Family, friends, celebration, love and laughter. Thank you for letting us be a part of your celebration, we had a wonderful time and hope you like the images as much as we do.
Love,
Steph and Shaun
