Ever since I became a wedding photographer I had been waiting to do an East Indian wedding. Shaun has had the opportunity to photograph several of them before, but this was my first. Ever since I was a child, I have loved colour. Bright Colour. And I knew this wedding was going to be full of bright colours and it was going to be lots of fun. I sure was not disappointed.
Harmon and Kiran hired us for four days of coverage. And four days equals lots of photographs. In fact it was double the most images we have ever taken at a wedding before. It started out with Maiyan and Henna Ceremonies and then there were the ladies’ Sangeets on the Thursday and Friday. The actual ceremony took place on the Saturday, followed by a lavish reception at the Meridian Banquet hall on the Sunday. There were many guests that flew from all over the world to come to this wedding, and they were treated with special performances, wonderful food, and great dancing. Everything about the wedding was fantastic. It was beautiful, huge, romantic, fancy and fun. And I should also mention the fabulous people. Both families were so warm and friendly that we felt like we were a part of the family. Thank you so much for your hospitality.
The wedding ran smoother than ever thanks to Monica from Suhaag Weddings. Monica helped keep everything magically on time and made sure everything looked great. Wanda with Urban Affairs provided the gorgeous decore. And the ever so talented Sunita Samaru did Kiran’s gorgeous hair and makeup, and we got to work with Vigor Media for the second time as they provided their fantastic videography services.
Harmon and Kiran, we are so happy for you both. You looked amazing and full of adoration for each other. Congratulations again. We hope you like the pictures as much as we do.
As mentioned earlier, four days of photography yields lots of photos. So brace yourself for a record number of photos below. :) And we would also like to thank our student Lorna Lillo for all her help throughout the weekend, and thanks as well to Gord who helped out with the photo booth at the reception.
