A New Years Eve Wedding with Dana and Brett(ski)

For Dana and Brett‘s wedding, they decided to ring in the new year with all of their favourite people.  They threw a fantastic New Years Eve shindig for everyone.  I’m talking stunning bling and blitz, champagne and fancy hats for everyone. These two know how to have a good time.

The girls looked amazing in their black and gold shiny dresses, but Dana outshined them all.  She  was stunning. Brett was beaming as she came down the aisle.  They both live in Saskatchewan, but Dana grew up here in Edmonton.  The entire wedding was held at the Château Nova and guests enjoyed staying warm in one location.  The bridal party unfortunately had to brave  -23 degrees celsius weather.  We used an indoor location to hop in and out of for staying warm, but tried to take as many outdoor portraits as possible.

Brett’s uncle Tom MC’d the evening and kept everyone laughing all night. Dana’s last name is Swiderski and he had everyone at the wedding shouting out ‘ski’ any time Brett’s name was mentioned in a speech.

After the dinner and speeches were over, I dont think the dance floor was ever cleared.  Dana and her father might have helped out in this by performing one of the most impressive Father/Daughter mid-song break out dances to ‘All the Single Ladies’ by Beyonce, we’ve ever seen.

As the count down approached, everyone was handed a hat and noise maker.  More champagne was poured and the party got even louder.  It was a magical night for Dana and Brett.  I dont think they could have been happier.  Congratulations to you both, and ALL THE BEST IN THE NEW YEAR!!  :)
